IA Mentoring events and resources

The MUG alumni have personal experience of both studying at the Medical University of Gdańsk and of the postgraduate training and professional service, which – if shared – may be useful and inspiring for the current students. The graduates may play a very important role as mentors for the students, not only by transferring knowledge and experience, but also by reinforcing students’ motivation and focus on their educational goals and plans for the future.

Mentoring provided by the alumni can include live meetings, online sessions, and support materials. In this section you will find information about any form of mentoring provided to current students of the MUG by our International Alumni.

Since May, 2021, as a result of cooperation between IARO and IFMSA Gdańsk, a series of mentoring meetings is offered to the interested students under the headline “Meet your specialty”. During those meetings physicians – MUG International alumni – share their experience of work in their chosen area of medicine with the current medical students, both from within and outside the MUG.

The MUG’s International Graduates, who would like to participate in mentoring events (meetings live or online) are kindly requested to inform us by filling in the form available here.
